What is Wellbutrin?
This drug is used as an anti-depressant medication.
DIRECTIONS:
Tablet - Comes as tablet to take by mouth. Do not split, chew or crush them. The tablets should be swallowed whole and taken with a full glass of water.
Your doctor will probably start you on a low dose of Wellbutrin and gradually increase your dose.
STORAGE:
- Keep it in its tightly closed container.
- Keep it out of reach of children.
- Store the capsules and tablets at room temperature and away from excess heat and moisture (not in the bathroom).
- Throw away any medication that is outdated or no longer needed. Talk to your pharmacist about the proper disposal of your medication.
WARNING:
Before taking Bupropion, Advice your Doctor and Pharmacist if you have these following
- If allergic to Wellbutrin or any other medications.
- If you are taking prescription and nonprescription medications, vitamins, nutritional supplements, herbal and other products.
- If you or anyone in your family has or has ever had depression, bipolar disorder (mood that changes from depressed to abnormally excited) or mania (frenzied, abnormally excited mood).
- If you or anyone in your family has thought about or attempted suicide.
- If you are pregnant, plan to become pregnant or are breast-feeding.
- If you become pregnant while taking bupropion, advice your doctor.
